We seem to get along so well that it's as if we have known each other years. I guess that's the magic of climbing mountains." |

| Time to leave the Hyatt for a couple of weeks. |
Today is a travel day as they travel to the mountain. About a 3 hr bus ride to the small frontier town of Puente Del Inca (spanish for The Inca Bridge). They get very close to the Chile border and Santiago will not be far from their overnight stay in a small Hosteria for the night.
Their bags need to be packed into two kit bags - 10kgs will be taken by mules to Confluence Camp and 20kg to base camp. So they will need to do some repacking and sorting.
Tomorrow the adventure can begin....
